Our project is based on the double meaning of the word “Ahavah”:
give and love.

 — Our Team —

Andrea Oliveros-Gorriti
Founder + Product Manager

From baking goods in her early teens to her first experiments with fashion, Andrea has always had a passion for entrepreneurship.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Studies. Before moving to NYC, she worked as a Brand Manager in the fashion industry in Lima.

Her dream is to combine both degrees to see women and children being empowered all over the world as she integrates her skills and passions in the fashion industry to serve those in vulnerable conditions.

Samantha Vigil-Pipkin
Product Manager Intern NYC

Samantha has always been resilient and a go-getter. She moved to a new country at the age of 9 and had to adapt to a new culture and a new language. Now she’s an honor student at Nichols College where she is studying International Business.

She has a passion for travel and has decided to visit 30 countries by the age of 30. She loves experiencing new foods, customs, and meeting people. Don’t send her to a resort... that is not her idea of traveling.

Her dream is to integrate both her passion for traveling and her degree in International Business and be able to help those less fortunate than her.

Piero Gorriti
Import + Logistics

Piero grew up in Peru and eventually moved to New York to pursue his bachelor’s in Business.

He is a lover of cultures and has worked in various intercultural settings. Because of his experience as an international student (and now international worker), Piero has grown a passion to research and write on diaspora communities, especially internationals living in NYC.

His dream is to see different inter-ethnic communities flourish by mutual resourcing and empowerment. He believes this could be attained through equitable partnerships and symbiotic relationships where both parties are willing to learn from the other regardless of socioeconomic status, nationality, or ethnicity.
